This kid and I went out for 3 months.
It ended badly.
We go to the same school.
He gave me his favorite hat and a teeshirt.
I was cleaning my room today and I came across both of them.
Should I give them back to him? Or throw them away?

i would ask him if he wants them back. if you throw them away he might think you still have them and are still like obsessed with him or something like that. ha. but anyways since they were his favorite he might like them back and it would be a nice thing to do. it shows youre mature and thinking of what is best for him. it could kinda be seen as a truce between you two.

Giving them back is a good way to show that you are mature and havent let the relationship turn you petty.

hmm, don't throw it out just yet. could you possibly get one of your friends (or one of his friends) to give the stuff to him? i mean, it would be better if you gave it back to him personally, but you could always use a middle man. i think it would be better to give his stuff back though.

Throwing them away is a bit harsh.
Why don't you ask him if he'd like them back? If you don't talk to him, keep them.. he might ask for them back sometime.
