I wouldn't try goop,it mainly for getting glue off.There is a spray can for fabic stains called Spot Shot.It great for carpets and different kinds of fabics.It comes in a blue can with a orange top.Hope this will solve your problem?

actually if its the faberic on the floor then regular detergent orks really well
also if you go tot the store and ask for the steam vacume solutions, they work really well if you use it just for cleaning, you dont need the steam vac
