Zelda The Phantom Hourglass

I have Zelda the phantom hourglass for my nintendo DS but i am stuck on a part...when you can't get past the fog on the northern part of your sea chart and you have to go to the Spirit Island how do u make the fog go away any help is appreciated

you can go to supercheats.com it has cheats for alot of games it rocks good luck

What island were you at before you have to go through the fog?
There's a specific pattern to sail through it that you can find on that island...
