Question Posted Saturday December 29 2007, 10:48 am
my boyfriend and i dry hump...well id most likely call it having sex with clothes on.. and last night i had underwear on, and he had boxers and athletic shorts...well i was wet down there and he was a little too and i just dont want to be worried about this. (and from now on were going to use something like a condom just incase) but he could have gone in me a little bit even with the layers on.. (not far in at all)
Am I overthinking this?
Should I be worried?
he was wet because of pre-cum. Pre-cum or pre-ejaculatory fluid is released when a guy gets an erection. It cleans out the inside of the urethra, which is the tube that carries semen and urine out of the penis.
The fluid makes the urethra less acidic and gives the sperm a better shot at surviving the trip from the guy's testicles to the girl's fallopian tubes. There's usually NO sperm in pre-cum fluid.
But, if there are live sperm inside a guy's urethra (because he has ejaculated recently), the pre-cum can "pick up" the leftover sperm on its way through the urethra and out of the penis. If a guy pees after he ejaculates, that would kill leftover sperm.
also... even if he did cum, the odds of it getting through three layers of clothing, is unlikely. plus, most underclothes are made to keep moisture in (or out).
on top of all that, you would have to be ovulating.

Just take a little extra care next time :) [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
