finding a job at 14
Can anybody help me with my problem? im 13 going on 14 and i need money but i dont know any places that hire at 14 can some one tell me where to start looking.

Check your local Publix. they have about 3 jobs that 14 year olds are able to do.

hmm let's see at around 13-14 your choices are limited, however i have a couple of friends that are 14/15 and they work at mcdonalds. you can check a local fast food place or somewhere like that and see if they are hiring. family-owned business might hire you, like i work for my dad, my friend works for her dad [he owns a store, and she helps clean up and all that stuff.] the most common thing at this age is babysitting, so you can always do that :). just walk around a local shopping center or anywhere that has stores/buisness and go in, see if they need any extra help. sorry if this isn't what your lookingg for, but goodluck :)

go to your church and ask where the childrens nursery is located. speak to the head of the nursery or the secretary or whoever and ask for an application and the minimum hiring age. i've been working at my church since i was 13. you won't make MUCH. i still make about 80 dollars a MONTH. you have to start off small either way.

You can't make minimum wage at 13, and you'll be lucky if you get a decent job.
The best thing to do is like baby-sitting. (O.K., not the best choice, but if you live in a rich community, they'll pay a lot.) Or you could mow lawns! (If you can find an old lady's house, it's even better, they tend to pay more.)
