Shortcakes advice is really good, and i agree completely... something else though, that helps me when i'm having trouble with a song. I just remember that it's all in my head. what i do, is try to do an even harder song than the one i'm struggling with... and when i fail miserably at that one, i go back to the first one that was giving be trouble, and it seems easier.

like i said, it's all in my head, and when i start messing with the relativity of difficulty levels, it seems so much simpler!

good luck little hero, and kick Lou's butt for me!

Practice, Practice, Practice. If you need to, go into practice mode and slow down the songs until you get them, then speed it up. The more you practice, the better you will get.

The same exact thing happens to me!
My friends are some of the best I've seen [like, 90% notes hit on expert good] and they've told me that doing the tutorials at the beginning, as well as the practice things, will help. I've never had the chance to do those things, but I'd take their word for it =) Good luck, and remember that the main thing is practice.
