new camera.. printer says "memory card error"

i bought a new camera and a new memory card.. its the same type of camera and same type of memory card that i had before.. but when i put the memory card into the printer to upload the pictures it says "memory card error. 0 videos 0 pictures" when i have pictures on there... whats going on and how can i fix it? this has never happened before

ok first off, there is an easy fix. simply format the memory card, you will lose all the pictures, but it will work fine.

if you want the actual pictures, you need a usb memory card reader, just plug it in, stick in the memory card, and save all the pictures, then format it.
