Question Posted Saturday December 22 2007, 11:43 pm
im 16 - 5'8 - 138 lbs. I used to weigh 150 but recently I've been working out alot and eating healthy. I still have 8 more lbs. to go before I'm at my goal weight but I can't seem to lose anymore weight! I exercise twice a day (mostly cardio) and I eat super healthy. I haven't even been able to lsoe one pound in a week and I've tried exercising more, eating less, I even take a motabolism booster now and NOTHING. what can i do to lsoe those last few pounds?
kc answered Sunday December 23 2007, 3:30 pm: You need to eat.
If your body doesn't have enough calories to burn, you're not going to loose anything. If you are exercising as much as you say you are, and not eating enough, it's like trying to drive a car with no gas. Keep eating healthy, but you need to eat more, not less. You have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat! This is because your muscles are more compact. So its not that you arent losing fat its that you are gaining muscle, which is good. Don't worry, if you keep on excersizeing you will be getting skinnier but because of that muscle it will seem like nothing is happening. So dont be upset, this is perfectly normal, dont let it intimidate you. [ TheAnnie's advice column | Ask TheAnnie A Question ]

Don't over exercise either...too much exercise can be really hard on your body...just keep eating healthy...try cutting down to 5 or 6 small meals a day instead of 3 bigger ones and cut back on your exercise...you have to have carbs and food in your body when you exercise or you'll crash so be careful and eat more than you are and don't over exercise...the number may not be what you want but your body will be.
