ok so i am going to have sex. i am on birth control AND he will use a condom. what are the chances of me getting pregnant?

It's really unlikely. There's really only a 1% chance out of 100%. Just make sure you know how to use the condom correctly. Good job on using both though (:

The chance is likely less than 1%, assuming you use both correctly.

Sex is always a bit risky and there are STDs that condoms will not protect agianst propperly. Always take care of yourself, not just through contraception, but through your choice of partner as well.

There can't be a 95% chance that you will get pregnant if you are using condoms and are on birth control, then that would mean that it only works for 5% of people who use it, which would not make it a good form of contraception. But, that isn't the case. You should be fine especially since you are using two forms of contraception and you are taking the steps to be safe.

well. there is always a 95% chance you will get pregnant due to accidents. but you'l probably be okay. if you really dont want to get pregnant and you wouldnt be able to handle it if it happend, then wait. the best way to not get pregnant is by abstenance. hope this helped !
