One year gift?

Question Posted Tuesday December 18 2007, 2:36 am

From a guy's perspective, what would you want for your 1 year anniversary? Nothing sexual. My boyfriend is going to buy me a $200-$300 necklace. I'm afraid I won't be able to measure up with gifts. I was thinking of making a scrapbook but we don't have much pictures together, so i wouldn't know how to fill up the pages. i would only have about 5 weeks to put it together. is there anything else i could make or buy? i've made him a scarf and a stuffed animal bear by hand before. I was thinking of scrapbook and a striped scarf. But, what else? And guys, would you actually want those two things ? =/ I need some other ideas.. something.. meaningful, you know? No cologne or watch things.. He's not that type of guy. So I'm kinda at a loss with ideas. He's into hip hop and MMA.

Well there are tons of things you could do that I am sure your boyfriend would appreciate:

-Make a CD with all of the songs that remind you of him or songs that both make you think of each other

-Make him a cute card instead of buying one and on the front put a picture of the two of you

-Customize M&M's. If you Google it will give you a link where you can customize your own M&Ms in the color you like and you can pick the writing that goes on it. It could say "Happy One Year"

-A hot air balloon ride--that's about $400.00 though

-You could plan a picnic in a park and then carve your names into a tree with a heart around it; cliche, but cute

-Since it's the winter season you could buy a snowglobe that you can add a picture of the two of you to, you coud also do this with a cup or mug

Hopefully you think of something that works for you. But whatever you decide, I am sure your boyfriend will love it because it's coming from you. :)

Tickets to a concert? For two? Maybe go out to a very nice restaurant and you pay. Or a gift basket with some of his favorite cd's (or ones you think he might like), and I'm not sure what MMA is, but I looked it up and its martial arts related, so if that's right why not get him some martial arts stuff?
