theres this guy i really like but hes a few years older. we talk every night for a good 2 or more hours online but he is at college and i dont see him too often. i want to tell him how i feel but im not sure how to word it or anything. please help! f/16

Honesty is always key. How far away is he? An hour or two.. or eighteen? That makes a difference. It's always hard to tell someone you like your feelings, but you just have to take a deep breath and do it.
Do you two flirt alot? If so.. does he do it with any other girls you know of.. or just you? How did you two meet? Through a mutual friend or a sibling? Are you sure that there is nothing going on between him and anyone else? Has he recently broken up with anyone, or mentioned being lonely? (You never want to be the rebound girl.)
Try starting with a, "Hey, soandso.. we need to talk." If he's like most guys I know, this is his que to either try cracking some kind of lame joke or he'll flat out go, "What's up?" Take a deep breath, and kind of back him into it.
"There's something I want to tell you, I'm not sure how you're going to react.. I want you to promise me that whatever happens after tonight that we'll remain friends." ---something like that. You'll get him really curious, and you probably won't be able to stop yourself from telling him now. "I've liked you for a while.. but didn't know how to say it... I didn't know if it would matter." Something like that.
