I'm not sure of all the scientific reasons for it happening, but it most probably happens to other people as well.. Just like some people almost wet themselves (or some unfortunate people actually DO wet themselves!)
When something's really funny, just try not to laugh so hard. Focus on your breathing and don't strain yourself :) If it's really becoming a problem for you and you feel you can't control it, it could be worth seeing a doc to see if there's any medication which could help you. You are most likely lacking physical exercise and need to do an hour of it in private and prior to seeing your boyfriend, at which time, your body may take care of your excess gas without an audience. Laughter is great, and farting is normal, but you need to get some control over this and quickly. [ BitsandPieces's advice column | Ask BitsandPieces A Question ]
