you cant make a girl like you just because you want to be with her.
as much as you probably dont want to hear this, you need to let her make up her own decision on who she wants to be with.
i know this is cliche and all, but if its ment to happen, it will. and thats the truth.

There's nothing you can really do. sit and wait it out.
but there are things you should NOT do.
1. Do not bad mouth the other guy. It makes you seem insecure and insensitive. Bad quality in a person.
2. Do not bring him up in coversation whatsoever.
3. Don't be overbearing about whether or not she's over this guy.
Just be there for her, show her your own good, sweet qualities, (not her ex's bad ones) and wait and see what happens.
