Question Posted Wednesday December 5 2007, 2:45 pm
I admit, I am a worrier...and I tend not to deal with stress constructively. I am very stressed out right now. Almost every day I feel like my heart is in my throat. I lose my appetite (though I do eat),my stomach feels like it's gonna flip, and sometimes when I wake up my heart starts racing at the thought of the things I have to take care of. I have already graduated college, and the thought of what I am to do now, afterwards, is literally draining me. I can't even think straight anymore- stress is getting the best of me.
I am generally a relaxed person, but right now I'm so tense. Does anyone have any advice as to how to relax and take my mind off things, but at the same time get things done? (e.g, ways to ease stress)

Tammers66 answered Wednesday December 5 2007, 7:43 pm: well like you i stress over everything...what i do is take a nice hot bath every day with music and try not to the think of anything that will stress you out. Another thing is you should do is take time to relax eveeryday and anything you need to do you should get done asap and not procrastinate about it so you don't stress more. But for me the hot bath definitely works because it relaxes all your muscles. Some people say that working out also helps relieve stress!! or taking a walk. Well i might not have given you the best advice but i hoped i helped:) [ Tammers66's advice column | Ask Tammers66 A Question ]
