I wonder who farts more girls or boys. Is there any research? Whats your opinion?

I'd say that they do it equally, boys just tend to think it's funny, so they don't try to hide it.

Farting has nothing to do with the sex of the person. Different people have different body functions.

you know im really not aware if there are any documented studies on the comparison of rate of flatulence between genders but my guess is it would depend on the person and on the whole is about the same. bottom line?
i think its probably about even but obnoxious guys are just more likely to tell you about it. my ex boyfriend is like that lol. girls tend to be more subtle about it

it depedns on the people. like i fart more than my boyfriend. it also depends on what people eat, and that kinds of stuff. usually, guys are more open about it while women are more likely to hide it. so i would say about equal honestly

Actually, the average healthy male and average healthy female pass gas about the same, although men's farts tend to be stinkier and louder since I assume men eat more protein (eggs, meats, etc.) which would produce a greater odor. For more info, I suggest reading the book "The Gas We Pass: The Story of Farts" by Shinta Cho. Perhaps not an English reading book, but very informative. : )
