Question Posted Thursday November 29 2007, 4:46 pm
Me and my friends are in desperate need of a song for our school talent show im in 8th grade and we definiatly((dont mind my spelling :P)) dont want one that has been *recently* or is on the radio, we would like an upbeat song..thats not too fast but not too slow! if you have any suggestions you can help me on here or if its easier I.M me [on AIM] at glamourxpros thanks alot!! :)
If you're doing a dance routine, then I'd recommend anything by Fatboy Slim. "Weapon of Choice" or "Gangsta Trippin" are really good.
For a vocal routine, look for an album called "Tomfoolery". It's a Broadway show adapted from the works of Tom Lehrer. They may not let you sing "The Masochism Tango", and "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" may get you a long visit to the counselor, but "New Math" and "The Periodic Table of Elements" should be just academic enough. Well, maybe they don't allow that in school, I don't know, but it is an old song that is just as great every year.
