are all youtube videos blurry?

No, not all of them, but a bunch are. Most of the music videos from Universal, and other brand names come out high quality.

You can't expect much from such highly compressed codecs. They're blurry because they're so small so that people on dialup can view them. Some are better than others, such as these; [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

a lot of it has to do with how many people have re-recorded the video. The more people re-record, especially if they're re-recording from a youtube video that's already been degraded, the blurrier the picture gets.

They arent going to be the sharpest image, but some videos ARE sharp! They arent perfect, but you can tell the difference.
