i have to write a research paper for my english class. the topic i chose was gay marriage and i'm for it. does anyone know any sites i can go to to look up information on this?
Just remember that a lot of these are opinions and research papers are supposed to be fact. I don't see how you could have a research paper on same-sex marriage, it just doesn't make any sense.
Are you sure it's not a pro/con paper or something like that? Especially if you have to take a side...
If this were a research paper you would be giving facts, showing both sides of the issue, etcetera, you wouldn't be choosing a side and writing about it. Not that I'm saying you're wrong, and not to sound conceited, but I'm pretty good at writing and my specialties are research papers - this just doesn't make sense as a topic.
Anyway, I hope some of those links help.
You can easily google "pro same sex marriage" or "same sex marriage". Remember not to use wikipedia, it can be changed by anybody and is not a reliable source.
Good luck. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]

But you also have to remember though, that anyone can publish a website on the web and I'm sure your english teacher went over what websites are good etc.
I'm not quite sure if there would be any particular sites dedicated just to that so you'll want to try a bunch of combinations when searching.
