I always have this one dream when something very important is going to happen to me. Whenever it happens it means something will happen, A death, A relationship, Anything life changing. It scares me because I know something is gonna happen and theres nothing I can do about it. Im in my moms old truck and its completely empty, its rolling toward the ocean, I look out the window and i see myself with the girl I love, usually it is flashbacks of my life, Im laying there with the girl i love and i wave to myself, the truck hits the ocean water and i drowned, then i wake up. Every time i have this dream i understand it more, it hasnt seemed like it was gonna end till now. I dont know what that means, am i gonna die or will i help myself from the sinking truck?

Dreams are about every day things. No matter how imaginative, far fetched, and creative they may be, they do have to deal with your anxiety, your worries, and every day problems that you have to face.
There are two types of "dreaming". In REM sleep, you have imaginitve and creative dreams. I don't know the details, but this dream doesn't seem very 'out there'. There is also called sleep thinking, where your brain thinks about things that are rational, maybe something specific that has really happened to you. This is not during very deep sleep.
Do you worry about drowning? More realistically, do you worry about letting something happen? Is there something you know about thats going on in your life, or in someone else's life, that you have concealed and you're not doing anything about it?
Just like you're letting the truck roll into the water, you may be letting something else slip away. You're just letting it happen, or you're losing something/someone.
If any of this is true and it really is happening in your life/someone else's, try to stop it. Maybe the dream will end once and for all.
You are not going to die. [ boxocrackas's advice column | Ask boxocrackas A Question ]
ImHere2MakeAdifference answered Tuesday November 13 2007, 12:26 pm: My dreams come true alot of the times, Like i get warnings if bad things are going to happen, SOme peopple don't believe me, but other sware im Physic. Like I have dreams that reapeat and I have dreams whare people who pasted away will come visit me. Its scary. If your able to this, when you go to sleep and concintrate on dreaming that dream. Talk to your self in the dream and ask yourself what it means. Im able to talk to myself in dreams and thats it. Also I think you should buy a dream book they tell you what your dreams mean. I have one, but you need to tell me your full dream in like loads of details and I can tell you what the book says.
I hope this helped you at all.
If you don't get a chance to get the book
just email me. [ ImHere2MakeAdifference's advice column | Ask ImHere2MakeAdifference A Question ]
Vegalicious21 answered Tuesday November 13 2007, 7:41 am: Ok, Im not telling you to believe any of this b/c i dont know your beliefs/religion, but this is what it COULD be based on my beliefs. and PLEASE dont think im crazy if we dont agree on beliefs!!!
1. if you believe in reincarnation, it might be something that happened in a past life...like you died by drowning or a truck wreck or something like that.
2. some people believe that things like this are phycic (however you spell it), some people just have something that clicks when they know something is going to happen. You know, we only use like 10% of our brain, and i believe that sometimes certain people can tap into some more of theirs and have special kinds of abilities like that.
I seriously think you should tell someone that wont judge you or think your crazy (b/c that happened to me before, and that wasnt very good...) i suggest an adult person who can give you their insite into this.
I really hope i helped, and good luck! [ Vegalicious21's advice column | Ask Vegalicious21 A Question ]
DaAdvicePerson answered Tuesday November 13 2007, 12:21 am: OMG!!! that is really frightening. I get those dreams sometimes too...to be honest. and they usually do happen, and I do get scared.
I know exactly how you feel, and i know that there is nothing you can do about it, but the best thing that i do that helps me is by telling my parents that , or someone i can trust.
It is really important to tell someone because if you dont, then you never know what could happen to you. they might get help for you or something.
well i hope i helped in some small way. :)
