Pale Skin vs. Makeup Dept

Question Posted Tuesday November 6 2007, 1:30 pm

I won't tan and I can't buy makeup light enough for my skin. (Im goth btw.)
I usually use Halloween makeup (but it peels) or Halloween makeup mixed with real makeup.

Anyone know of any quick, easy household fixes or ideas to help me stay pale and beautiful and not look like I have a faceful of dirt when I wear makeup? Lmao.

To get pale, put on some baby powder on your face, shoulders(and cleavage if you wear the exposing stuffs). It doesn't usually come off unless you move a whole lot. Also, don't get it on your clothes if you want it believable. (drape a towel over your shoulders) And lightly put on the makeup layer by layer. I go for the crow look, and if I put too much makeup on, it looks a little wrong. (btw I use l'Oreal. The blacker the better) So yeah. :D GO GOTHY!!!!!

I'm like the whitest person a lot of people know. I use trueblend by covergirl in the shade ivory. It works great. Try it out.
good luck.

Go to the make-up counter and try different shades until you find the shade right for you. Trust me, there is a shade light enough for you, unless you're albino :O. I have very, VERY light skin, and wear my makeup perfectly. Also try soft brown mascara and liner (black is sometimes too harsh) and bold shimmery shadows, and some glimmery pinks for your pout. Red also looks good on pale skin, but that may be a little bold for some people. Hope I helped!
