Wanted:Good Books! lol (i know so dumb...)
Does anyone know of any really good books? Because i <3 to read and i am completely out of books. Preferably series but that doesnt matter much i just dont like when a good book ends :P I like tons of different books in doesnt really matter what genre except i dont read mystery or horror or anything like that. I like a lot of books about life such as "The Truth About Forever" by Sarah Dessen and i love books about the past. like historical fiction, i used to always read those Golden Diaries or whatever and the books about America and all that. A couple other books i like for an example are Shabanu and Haveli by Suzanna Fisher Staples, and Esperanze Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan. I dont really care if it has anything to do with what i just put i just want really good books that you have read and got a lot from and enjoyed and think i would like and could read too. I'm not very picky but i like things with a point. Thanks so much!!! ;)

Lessee here: Madeline L'Engle is most famous for "A Swiftly Tilting Planet" and its sequels, but she's written a number of other good novels that have less of a SF/ fantasy bent. They're not exactly a series, but they do share characters and locales.
Lloyd Alexander's last book "The Golden Dream of Carlo Chuchio" is great historical fiction dressed up as a fantasy. There's no magic, but there is a treasure map and a book of fairy tales, and an incredible scoundrel named Baksheesh. Very funny, and it does have a point.
More funny book can be found in "The Neddiad" by Daniel Pinkwater. It's available online at theneddiad.com. Very funny, and a good introduction to magical realism.

The Pretty Little Liars series. Written by Sara Shepard. I'm on the 3rd of [hopefully] 4 books. The first is The Pretty Little Liars, the second is Flawless, the 3rd is Perfect and I'm unsure if she's even finished the 4th because I don't know the title and I have yet to find it anywhere.
There is this trilogy where I am unsure of the author. The books are entitled Uglies, Pretties, Specials. They were pretty good. It took me a while to get into them but once I did I really enjoyed them.
Impulse by Ellen Hopkins is good if you like the real life drama type of thing.
Anything Sarah Dessen really. I read Just Listen and it was awesome!

i'd recommend anything by nochloas sparks. my favorite is "message in a bottle". and some of his books have sequels, too.
i also love "the summer i dared" by barbara delinsky. it's a love story, and sort of a mystery. but it's an awesome book.
anyway, i'd recommend going to borders or target and looking their best selling section. i always find amazing books there. (:
