i do believe you are talking about "mono" as in Mononucleosis. which i actually got a few months ago. you get it from contact with salavia from a person taht has it. mostly they call it "the kissing dease". which makes sense i got it from my ex b/f i do believe. usually the person just gets tired and sleeps a lot. there r more serious cases though. like in my case i got very nasous, hard time holding down food, high fever, dehydration, a lumb on my neck which was actualy a swallowen lemp node. i woudl suggest if u think u have ti. go to the doctors and get checked out.

mononucleosis (Epstein Barr Virus) is a disease spread by saliva. The person below me was wrong, it is not caused by being tired, but being tired is a symptom. The first person was right.

i've had mono before. its a sickness that you get form being overly tired or overdoing it and not getting enough sleep. it can put you out of school or work for quite some time. i was out for 3 weeks. hope this helped you!

I assume you're talking about Mononucleosis, "Mono" for short. It's a sickness, and it's contagious. They often call it "the kissing bug".
