You go there if you get expelled, either pregnant or lacking in credits. Most people don't realize you can go there to earn credits faster. You do your work at your pace.. slow or either fast. You go to school once a week and take work home. You can go back to school another day in the week and take tests whenever you want. So you make up and/or earn your credits faster than you normally would at regular school . I'm graduating next year as a junior. They have many classes for you to choose such as various Maths, Sciences, Electives like art and Drivers Ed, and preparing for exit exams.. There's also other programs such as junior college which you could also take along with going to an alt. school. Once you receive all your credits, you either graduate along with your regular school or sometime in the summer, depending on the program you chose. just talk to your school about these and see what they can offer you.
