How much is "a few"? Less than 5? 10? Probably not. Dentist's can tell alot of things, so it's quite hard to fool them. I once remember someone went and he said "you've been eating polos!" I guess that was after long exposure to the sweets though.
As for the black dot, it could be a number of things. Something simple like a blood blister or something which may need treatment. If your dentist misses it, to reassure yourself, point it out and ask what it is.
Rememeber;
Don't smoke, be healthy. ;)
Good luck! ]
most likely if he has any experience as a dentist, and adult or teacher can tell just by seeing your teeth or when you talk your breath ]
It depends how much is "a few times". Dentists can also tell if a patient is bulimic because the acid from their vomit screws with the back of their teeth - that doesn't mean that they'll accuse you of having an eating disorder if you've had the stomach flu a few times, you know? :)
I'm not sure what the black dot is though. =/ sorry ]
