html using pictures

Question Posted Friday October 26 2007, 9:48 pm

I am trying to create a link to my myspace blog on my profile.
Instead of using words like "click here" I want to be able to use a picture as the link. Can anyone help me with the html??

Thanks so much

To use a photo as a link, upload the photo to a place such as ImageShack.us, Photobucket.com, Tinypic.com, etc.

Copy the line that says "URL" and paste it into where it says "IMAGEURL" below!

Where it says "LINK", put the site you want to link it to. =]

<a href="LINK"><img src="IMAGEURL"></a>

You mean like an actual picture, or a picture using the Webdings & Wingdings fonts?

You just put the anchor tag around the image tag. Example (spacing for clarity, not necessity):

<a href="URL">

<img src="URL" border="0">

</a>

The border="0" just removes the annoying image border that would come with it normally. You can remove that if you want.
