std

Question Posted Tuesday October 16 2007, 5:00 pm

I know that you can't judge this by the internet, but I'm extremely paranoid. I'm 16 & I was drunk this past weekend. I ended up hooking up with a boy. He's the kind of kid that acts like he gets a lot of action, but I don't know if he's lying or not. (I have no real proof). Well I started to perform oral on him for about 3 minutes (unprotected) but then I stopped and said I didn't want to do it. And the next day I kind of had a sore throat but barely, it wasn't severe at all. Just tiny bit. But it might have been from making out for so long because that's happened to me before. Well now I just have some phlegm (sp?) but it's not bad. And my gums by 1 of my teeth barely hurt, but it might be from brushing my teeth so hard. Do you think I'm at risk of an std?

It is possible it could be nothing or it could be an STD,the only way to know for sure is to get yourself tested. And for future reference try not to hook up with guys you dont know personally and at 16 years old you should NOT be drinking.ITS AGAINST THE LAW

Yes, you are at risk of STDs. You had unprotected sex, which means that you could have any STD that this boy may have had. You should get tested ASAP.

You can be at risk for an STD while having any type of unprotected sex. For your own safety it is best to just assume someone who even claims they are free of STDs isn't.

Here is a cool site to visit. They have a link that
explains all the STDs to look for as well as other useful information. So do some looking around while you are there. I will let you click on the STD link.
That way it won't show up on your internet history. :)
