I have a HUGE crush on this guy. We are both in high school, I'm a sophmore, but he's a freshman. Is that really wierd? Can a sophmore girl and a freshman boy date without being made fun of? Also, how do I tell if he likes me?

People will make fun of you if you're older than him.
People will make fun of you if you're younger than him.
People will make fun of you if you're the same age.
So it doesn't matter at all. It's not weird, and if you like him, let him know. Flirt with him or even ask him out- nothing wrong with that at ALL.

How do you tell? Flirt and see if he responds positively. Other than that, you can outright ask. For example, ask him to a dance. There is nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out.
