You follow the instructions.. there's a powder bag on the bottom of the box. You pour the activator into a bowl and gradually pour in some powder while mixing.. and then you have it! It tells you how long to leave it in and everything
You take a piece of foil and put a piece of hair in front of it.. apply the bleach with a brush.. you cover it completely and make sure there's enough for it to go through the other side. You fold the foil together a few times.
A tip; is to use a blowdryer over the foil to quicken the process.. Take a break and use a blowdryer again. Open the foil and see the process. Make sure it is not bright yellow when you take it out. A yellow tint is okay because the toner will take it out.
Then make sure you condition those strands well. Your hair may break at the ends a little but a little trim will work.
Some people put conditioner in their hair for an hour or longer and it makes their hair less fried.
ASKCATT answered Friday September 28 2007, 1:45 am: BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!
Bleaching always leads to breakage of the hair.
DONOT BLEACH TO THE COLOR YOU WANT ALL AT ONCE.
Get it done professionally!
and make SURE you tell them you want to come by the month.
Every month, you go lighter.
Make sure to condition like theres no tommoroww
that will be your best friend once you begin to bleach.
:)

Going to a salon would be best, but if you're like me, then you hate spending that kinda money for that.
You could just buy some peroxide if you want it really really blonde. [ melindabeckley's advice column | Ask melindabeckley A Question ]
