Question Posted Tuesday September 25 2007, 11:28 pm
i recently hurt my knee (i have a torn MCL)
and my boyfriend is coming back into town this weekend and im worried about comfort during sex hes a pretty big guy and im just wondering what kind of position might be the most appropriate
Ashumms answered Friday September 28 2007, 7:28 pm: You can try you on top, but on the edge of the bed, couch, etc. Make sure that the side that is hurt is on the outside of whatever you may be having sex on. You can let your leg hang over the side. It's very comfortable, but you will have to use your good leg for all the work. [ Ashumms's advice column | Ask Ashumms A Question ]

(I'd say this one is your best bet) Or hold the hurt leg out and have him be very careful about holding up his weight. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
sizzlinmandolin answered Thursday September 27 2007, 5:41 pm: I would say to try the "spooning" position. It's where you are both lying on your sides, guy behind. You could have your legs stretched out mostly straight and have your hurt knee on top of the other one. This is actually the recommended position for pregnant women, so it's pretty mellow. If that doesn't work, you could "do it" on the edge of the bed with your leg propped up on a chair or something. Just use your imagination and you'll probably think of something that will work well. Good luck! :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
Cherry_Blow_Pop answered Thursday September 27 2007, 5:22 pm: mostly all of them probably require you having your knee bent at some angle. it depends on how much discomfort you have right now. if you think you can have it bent or some time, and you don't want to move too much, missionary would be the easiest way to go, since some of the others require pressure to be put on your knee. Try them all out and change if one is too painful. Or you can just not have sex until it fully heals.
