Falsely accusing someone of sexual harrassment usually costs you loss of reputation plus you
can be sued for damages done to the person you accused. They probably lost their job, reputation,
had court costs, lawyers fees...you're looking at
a lot of money. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

False Accusation for Sexual Harrassment:
If the law and courts are involved? A LOT.
This is a serious offence to appoint upon someone and if lied about, it is also very serious.(as is anything if you are lying in court, or to anyone about a serious matter!)
I'm not sure what the particular situation is for you concerning this topic, however make sure the person who made false accusations is as far away from the "offender" as possible, convince them stop the lying immediatley if you know them personally, or collect evidence against it to prevent further complications if possible.
My sister's friend has been (privatley) accused by people she knows personallly (including myself and even my sister) of accusing her step father of sexual harrasment.
(because we have the vast knowledge that this girl lies ALOT)
As a result he cant see his kids independantly, and if he does its under supervision. Hes not even allowed to touch them.
This is just one of the awful consequences he is facing as a result from a liar. However, he remains "guilty" becuause the possible lying has not been reported.
Im just warning you how serious this could get if taken into the wrong hands, lied about, even exxagerated etc.
Im not a professioal haha, thats what i would do if i was in that position.
I hope this helped, (and good luck if you need it! haha)
