Many women have orgasmed from missionary. But some women can't orgasm from sex at all. The guy just needs some guidance, if he moves slightly.. he could possibly hit your g-spot. Just tell him what you like.
But yeah don't stress over it. If you can't orgasm from the bottom, then get on top and lay on him. Try new positions and see how it is.

I've had sex and I'm almost always on the bottom. There was probably one time where I wasn't. Anyways, I was on bottom & I orgasmed, so no, it's not true.

You probably heard the "if you're on bottom you won't orgasm" thing because if the woman is on top, she has control.
