Question Posted Thursday September 13 2007, 7:28 pm
14/f and I've never kissed a boy on the lips before. I've heard that you can practice against your hand or a wall or something, so I practiced once and a question came to mind, when you're kissing... are you supposed to be breathing?? if so, then through your nose or mouth?? how exactly do you breath when your kissing, cause i don't wanna stop every 4 seconds taking a breath, or breathing through my nose and having air being blowed on his skin. so could someone explain all of this to me??
also maybe any other helpful first time kissing tips and stories??
HiChick answered Friday September 14 2007, 10:37 pm: Hi! Kissing is so much fun and just wait until you do! But anyway i didnt really have to think about it you just breathe. Its not like you think ok breathe...now! or whatever its just like when your doing sumthing normal or talking. Plus most likey your first kiss will just be a cute sweet little peck and you dont have to worry about breathing in the time span of 3 seconds! lol but you will probably work up and so your ready for each step. It may seem like your not but eveything turns out great. Feedback please! :D And hope i helped!!! [ HiChick's advice column | Ask HiChick A Question ]

im sure youve heard people say 'it just comes naturally' or 'the only practice you can get is by actually kissing' or things along those lines. people kept telling me those things, and i still had no idea what to do, or what that meant. when it happened for me, i realized - everyone was exactly right. you're getting all crazy about it now, but dont. dont worry. when it happens, you will realize how easy it is. it seriously, just comes naturally and you will know exactly what to do, without even thinking about it. i cant stress that enough.
when you're kissing, especially with tongue, you should always be breathing ... because if you dont, that wouldnt be good ... =P you breath through your nose. you'll probably stop kissing for a few seconds, everyone does. in those few seconds, before you start kissing again, you breathe. dont get nervous when he makes a move, and let him make the first move.
footballchick2 answered Friday September 14 2007, 8:03 pm: You should definately breathe, but through your nose. You just have to be calm when kissing him, because if your blowing full force out your nose, it will ruin the kiss and bother him. I know that if it's your first, you'll be nervous, but your first kiss can truly be magical. So you have to let if flow, and breathe normally.
