ripped jeans

okay well i cant find ripped jeans in american eagle or aeropostale and abercrombie&&fitch is so expensive so i kinda wanna make my own but im afraid ill mess up and they will look bad cause i dont have many jeans they are all to short on me so can someone who has done this tons of times give me step by step directions

I use a cheesegrater.

put on the jeans and mark where you want the holes.

get something hard and place it under these marks

cheesegrate away. I usually use the finer sides, and somethimes you'll need to make small cuts to speed up the process.

I've used both of these methods. Just remember to water down bleach if you are using it. Most house holds bleach need to be water down to about 3 parts water, 1 part bleech or else it will just eat your clothing away. Better to use too little bleach at first, then too much.
