always hungry

Question Posted Friday September 7 2007, 10:07 pm

I really want to lose weight. And I try to eat healthy things but it just makes me more hungry. So I end up cheating my diet. I have tried eating crushed ice and gum to keep my mouth busy but they didn't work. What can I do?? Also what healthy foods can i snack on besides fruit and vegetables??

What are some easy things I can do to burn a lot of calories and burn the fat on my stomache in a short period of time like maybe 15 minutes?? ( I dont have a lot of fat just a little toning up would make me feel better about myself) i have already tried sit-ups.

Also how can I burn the fat off of my hips and thighs??any easy, short workouts.

Thank you so much.

I'm a huge fan of eating every few hours (say like mostly 2-3 hours between meals and snacks). During the summer I'd have breakfast at like 9, have a snack at 11 or 12, eat lunch at 2, have another snack maybe at 3 or 4, and have dinner at about 7ish.

So make sure you don't deprive yourself by not eating. Eating every few hours keeps up your metabolism and will make you less hungry.

Kashi bars, cookies and crackers and really good. I've been eating apples with some peanut butter also as a snack.

Do crunches on a stability ball, easy and effective. Plus they help tone your abs. Cardio for hips and thighs. Run for like 15 minutes.

If you go to my profile, on the right column, it should say My Forum...and a link that leads to my forum. In there, click a topic that kind of looks something like "Carbs, fats, proteins, wtf???" I don't know what order those words are in. But anyways, just click that and there is a list of GOOD foods. Note that it's not limited to that list.

You should try and get more protein into your diet to make you feel less hungry. Drink water every hour to put off that hunger, too.

And about the short workouts, look at Toning Exercises in my forum. Those should take no more than 20min in a day. =)

Good luck!
