contacts
my parents are being totally unfair cau i really want contacts but they say im not going to get them. they say they dont want me to get an infection or something like that, and they say they cost a whole lot more then glasses so is there any way i can get my parents to buy me contacts? caus im already 16 and i look like a total nerd wih glasses.

make excuses about how much easier itll be with contacts
just tell them youll take care of them and as long as you dont complain about them thay wont care
just make sure you take care of them....

Tell your parents that you will be really responsible about it, and you will take your contacts out every night and clean them in clean care (this hydrogen peroxide stuff that kills all of the bacteria on your contacts) Let them know that as long as you take care of your contacts and your eyes, an infection isn't gonna happen. And tell them that in high school..glasses are not ok. If you play sports or anything like that, explain how much easier sports will be with contacts. And about the cost..I don't know how to help you with that but 1-800-contacts is cheaper than getting them from your eye doctor.
