soddy-daisy, tennesee ???

Question Posted Friday August 24 2007, 7:41 pm

16/F

Hi, I live in Erie PA and I have my whole life. The company my dad works for is currently going down the tubes, and he said there is a chance we're going to have to move sometime soon. I'm really nervous and sad about that, all my friends are here and this place is all I've ever known. Has anybody ever gone through this and has some vaild advice for me? And also, if you live near or have been to Soddy-Daisy Tennesse, whats it like? That's probably where I'll be going.

Well I had to move when I was younger so I probally didnt have it as tough but you will get through it. It will be hard in the beginning but soon you will make new friends and they will make it easier for you. You can always keep in touch with your old friends. Like the song goes "Make new friends but keep the old..." So dont worry you will live through this and in the end maybe you will like that you had to move.

well, i have move a couple times in my life, most involving my fathers job, and to other states each time, so i know what your going through.first of all, it is always tough, and a little embarrasing being the new kid,and i takes sometime getting used to. but know that your friends are only a phone call away.it helps to try to go for lots of after school program, or any other activity to meet people, that way you dont fell like an outsider, which you probably will, for a short time.

i have never traveled to tennese however i have traveled through bordering states and other further west states, so i assume it will not be all that much different from pensilvania,it mat seem more rural in places, but generally the same.(i think)
But the point is, that you may not even know the difference between pensilvania and tenessee and will adjust easily.(to the geography i mean)...(if you move there)

i wish you the best from someone who's been there,...
