when you feel a craving coming on, just go do something else. it's hard, i know, i go through the same thing. but trust me, just GET AWAY from the kitchen. go occupy yourself with something else. trust me, you'll be so happy with the results and you'll feel alot better about yourself.

First, at 5'6", 123 pounds is a good weight. So, don't worry about that.
Next, think about what you are craving. Is it sugary foods? Fattening foods? What do the foods have in common. Cravings usually tell you that you are lacking something. Eat a healthy alternative to what you are wanting. For instance, if you are craving sweets, curb the craving with fruit.
Another cause for cravings can be feelings. Do you have cravings at certain times (I get some odd cravings when I get my period, so that is something to consider)? What do you think brings them on? Perhaps try keeping track of your cravings. Write down what you want, what time of day it happens, and what you are thinking or feeling at that time. See if there is a pattern. Then, do something to break that pattern. How to do that will mainly depend on what the pattern is.
Also keep in mind that at your age, you are still growing. Your cravings could be due to trying to manage your weight when you are already at a healthy weight. Your body is saying that you should go ahead and eat. Just remember to eat healthfully instead of junk and your body will likely level out soon. Also make sure your diet has a lot of variety. If you typically eat the same foods all the time, you could be having cravings due to a need for different nutrients or even just different tastes. Try something new the next few times you are having cravings. Perhaps that will help change the pattern.

I would suggest that when you get cravings that are not healty, leave the house and take a walk to get your mind off of the food. Try to spend more time with your friends or engage in after-school activites or get a job, and not at a fast food restaraunt.
