Chocolate-xox answered Sunday August 19 2007, 11:12 pm: Well there is a Sally Hansen Nail Growth polish thing. It comes in a lot of colours like regular nail polish, but it also has a clear one. Thats a way to make it longer. if you want to stop biting your nails then erm. put bandages on them? =S or even put them in lemon juice. hehe. hope this helps [ Chocolate-xox's advice column | Ask Chocolate-xox A Question ]
Ashumms answered Saturday August 18 2007, 9:27 pm: Find a clear nail polish for brittle nails. It hardens them and since you don't have brittle nails, it will make them even harder. It will not be as easier to tear them with your other nails. Apply it once or twice a day for better results. As for not chewing them, find something you really hate the taste of, but will stay in your mouth for a while. For example, vinegar. Dip your fingers in it as much as you need to. If you want, you can just apply fingernail polish remover to the pads of your fingers, so you will get the taste in your mouth if you bite them, but it won't remove the nail polish to harden your nails. Hope this helps a bit. [ Ashumms's advice column | Ask Ashumms A Question ]
Oaspring answered Saturday August 18 2007, 9:27 pm: well...i heard chlorine make them grow faster. and also if you file them just slightly ever 2 days ish that will grow longer.
and about stopping biting them...well just the thought of all those germs and stuff. i actually looked it up on google and i was shocked at all the nastyness so that made me stop. maybe you should look up like "nail biting and germs" or something like that.
