Oaspring answered Thursday August 16 2007, 10:14 am: yes you can most definitely get your schedule on orientation day the day before. just go to the main office they should have one. and also schools usually have maps. what i did when i was a freshman was get highlighters and labeled my classrooms and figured out a way to get there. also im sure many upperclassmen will help you. just ask it will be ok. but keep the map thing on the dl, you dont want to be known as the lost freshman with the map =b
just study it before school.
you'll be fine, dont worry too much :)

GOOD LUCK!

advice_me answered Thursday August 16 2007, 10:04 am: Just ask the guidance counselor. I'm going to be a freshmen too and I'm soo scared. We don't even get our schedules or find out our homeroom until the first day! There will be people on the first day to help you. And at the open house, you can ask questions. Don't worry, everyone is nervous. [ advice_me's advice column | Ask advice_me A Question ]

I would go to the open house day as you will be able to familiarise yourself with where everything is before school actually starts. It will also give you a chance to ask any questions about the school you have.
Starting a new school is always daunting but you'll be surprised how quickly things become 'normal'. If you do find yourself lost on the first day, then don't be afraid to ask someone. [ rainbowcherrie's advice column | Ask rainbowcherrie A Question ]
