i've seen cool socks at walmart, target, and old navy. actually, i have some argyle socks from old navy which sounds like what you're looking for.

I get all of mine at Kohls. There's also Five Below, Wal Mart or K Mart, or even the dollar store. Places like Hot Topic and Claires have them sometimes. But I think Kohls is the best, especially in the fall.
