You should really try to just tell her the truth. Making her think you love her is worse because she'll think you were a fake the whole time. She'll be confused. So you have to give her little signals that you don't feel like you did. Explain how you felt in the relationship from the starting point. She will still be sad and all but it's easier on her if you don't act like you love her a lot and then out of the blue break up with her. I really hope this helps somehow.

Just tell her. Be honest.
There's nothing worse than being with a guy who doesn't want to be with you.
Just nicely say to her, "Hey. I think maybe we should just be friends. We had a good relationship, but I just kind of want to be friends with you."
Or, let her down gently.
Don't hold her hand as much, don't flirt as much. Trust me, she'll notice something's up. We girls have a 6th sense for that stuff ;]

i think you should tell her the truth. tell her any guy would be lucky to have her but you just dont feel the same way she does bout you. tell her she deserves someone who loves her the same way she loves you. hope i helped

Ask if you guys can talk.
Have it be silent for a short time so she can get the vibe that something is wrong.
Then you can say something like this:
I don't think it's right for me to be with you.
her possible response: Why?
I don't think I like you as much as you like me. And it isn't right for me to stay with you and lead you on, and hurt you later on.
There isn't really a nice way to break up. Even saying "We can still be friends" hurts. But things have to happen.
