Basically like someone said before me, SoHo is a place where people go to in NYC to find anything and everything from clothes, jewelry, handbags and shoes, to artsy stuff. It is really nice to go shopping in SoHo. There's great stores there, where you can find great things.
People probably say "watch your purse" in SoHo because since it is New York, and I hate stereotyping, that people can mug you. I've lived in NYC all my life, and have never gotten mugged but there's that possibility of course. When someone says that they're basically saying that you should be careful since there are people out there that will try and take your bag to get your money and all. I've been to SoHo before, and that's never happened to me personally. Basically you should watch your bag though everywhere you go in the city (Manhattan), since you never really know who is out there, and what they're going to pull. Get what I mean? But the chances of that happening are slim to none. [ simplicityx's advice column | Ask simplicityx A Question ]
