rubbing alcohol.

Question Posted Wednesday August 8 2007, 11:20 am

I heard today that if you put rubbing alcohol on a pimple that it will clear it up. Is that true, because I don't want to try it and start breaking out?

yes it does help! but the way it helps is it drys it out and so it goes away! but make sure you put lotion on your face regularly so your whole face won't dry up! hope it helps!

I don't know if it helps or not, but it will dry your face out, which will make your skin produce more oil, which can lead to more breakouts.
If you get a product designed specially for acne, it won't dry out as bad.

Hope I helped :)
