Its my first time putting in a tampon today and im 13 so i put it in and i know i put up far enough but it hurt and when i sat down it hurt even more!Whats wrong? i need help bad
Yes, it can get lost in your body, I've seen it happen. Not to me, but to somebody I know personally. And it was not a good thing.
If it gets lost, you risk getting toxic shock symndrome. I don't mean to scare you, but you can die from TSS.
I suppose it could just hurt because it's your first time using one.
Since you're young, I'd just say to switch to pads. Much less painful.

sweetheart, your hymen probably broke. it's no big deal. put it in as FAR as you can reach - believe me. as far as you think it can go. you should not feel it when it's inside of you.
push it up farther into your vagina. trust me. the string won't be "too short" & the tampon won't get "lost" in your body.
you've come this far to experiencing the best invention of mankind. don't go back to pads. try tampons. if you do it correctly, you should NOT feel it inside of you.
take a fresh tampon, & stick it as far as you think it can go.

If it is really painfull ask someone you know who has been using tampons to explain how to do it or you could just switch to using pads, they will definately not be painful and are easy to put on.
