I did a project for school and I put,
"To gain cashier skills, be nice to customers, and have a positive influence on the store all around."

Well where are you wanting to be a cashier? It would somewhat depend on that.
For instance im a cashier at a grocery store.
Id say my objective is to "Be nice to the cusomers, make sure they feel welcomed (by talking), pricing them right and overall make the grocery store look good and make them want to come back. Oh and do my job to the best of my ability."
