I would like to eat more healthier and well i dont know what to buy when i go to the grocery store with my mom, like other then bananas and apples and grapes. What are some specific healthy things to get, fat free things maybe?,things big in fiber?. I just need a list of things,be specific dont just say cereal or fruits and veggies, say the kind of fruit or whatever.
-Fruit (some like apples have fiber!)
-Veggies (Corn, okra, brocolli[sp.], peas, squash, salad mixes, etc)
-Whole wheat and grain breads (advoid white)
-WATER WATER WATER!!!!!! (soda is bad for you!)
-Non-creamy salad dressings (fat free/light or even oil and vinegar)
-Try to get cereal with hardly any sugar like Cheerios and then put some fruit in it
-Kashi products (there frozen waffles are good!)
-Chicken is always good. It doesnt have any fat and if it does it isnt too much. There are many ways to prepare it. (No fried)
-Seafood (Salmon, trout, etc)

Fish, especially salmon- grilled with some lemon-butter sauce (mix melted butter and lemon juice) this is another low-fat food that's healthy and good for your hair, skin, and nails.
Whole-wheat bread- Makes really good toast and has lots of fiber
Yogurt- if you like yogurt, get the plain fat-free kind and try putting some honey on it for dessert. If you don't eat a lot of yogurt, try flavored yogurts, I love the Key Lime Pie flavored kind. Make sure it's fat-free or 99 percent fat-free. It's low-cal and helps your digestion.
Sorbet- get an all-natural fruit sorbet for a treat that's not high in calories.
Oranges, apples, raspberries, peaches- to make fresh-squeezed juices. Fresh-squeezed orange juice tastes great, my favorite is raspberry-peach juice (add some apple if it's too thick).
and click "Fats, Carbs, Proteins, wtf???" Topic, you'll get a long list of good foods.
Whoa. I've give out that link to a lot of questions and I jsut made it today. But yeah, you should get a nifty amount of foods in there =)
Oh, ORGANIC stuff is the best. Make sur it's USDA approved, though, because a lot of those organic stuff aren't organic. As for the ceral, try to stay away from those commercial, sugary brands like Coco Puffs. Instead, eat cereals that are healthy for you no matter how disgusting they taste.
