i was looking at the iphone and really really want it.. but my whole family has verizon. is it true that the iphone is only with at&t? and if it is.. does that mean it would cost more for one family member to be in at&t while the rest of the family is in verizon? thanks for any help you can give =]

Yes- it is only At&T*.
I would give it 8 months to a year to come to another network. You would have to have everyone in your family switch over for a better price- but you can have it alone, but there will be 2 bills=[

That is true.
The iPhone is only licensed to AT&T, but if (when) AT&T sucks too much, they will terminate the contract and go to another service provider.

Yes, it's true. It oly comes with AT&T. Yes, it will cost more because when you call someone from a different company it takes away from your minutes but when you call someone from the same company it doesn't use them. Also, there would be two bills.. one for you and one for the rest of your family. And that bill would be approximatly 40-60 dollars a month plus bill takes. And the phone is like another 400 bucks. It's really pointless to switch just for a cell phone because there is always going to be a cell phone you want. And maybe the iPhone will come to verizone too, just wait.
