School

Question Posted Wednesday August 1 2007, 8:23 pm

Enrollment is going on right now and I'm going to enroll on the very last day of enrollment x.x If I do, will I get a bad locker or do they just give out random lockers to people? Also, on the first day of school, should I bring a backpack + binder, or just a binder, or just nothing? Thanks!

judging by the answers you've gotten, every school is different. but if you enroll on the very last day, the classes you want might be full. and your schedule might suck. so think about that. at my school, nobody really uses lockers. actually, they don't automatically assign us lockers... we request them. since you're not enrolled yet, chances are if they assign you a locker, they've already assigned the good ones and you will get a crappy one if you don't hurry up and go up there and tell them you exist. on the first day of school i would bring a backpack and like some paper, and pens or something. don't show up with absolutely nothing though. anyway, good luck on your first day of school and i hope you get a good locker!

Most schools likely let people chose their lockers so they can easily get to classes. There a good chance that you wont get one exactly where you want it though.
You probably shouldn't bring anything, if you don't most teachers/a few students will have paper, pen or whatever you need and wont care about lending it to you as you arn't really expected to bring anything.

You get lockers on the first day of school. You report to homeroom and they assign them. So, no, you won't get a bad locker or anything.
However, you might not get all the classes you wanted. I signed up a week before school started, and I didn't get any electives, except Spanish.
I'd bring a notebook, folder, pen/pencil, and a backpack on the first day. You're going to get a lot of papers the first day and books. You really don't need a binder. The teacher will let you know what you need the first day. :)

I don't really know because we don't have lockers, but for middle school (when we did), they tried to put them by our classes.

So, I think that they are predetermined, and neither late enrollment nor random numbers have any influence on it.

Just bring a binder and a purse.
