this guy i was talking to on AIM he's not a stranger but a friend of a friend and i found out he liked me. kay so when i found it out i rly liked him. well i liked his personality
then i saw his myspace pics omg he was ugly!
i know i am shallow but man if u saw him.
i know he cant help it guys cant wear makeup

So you aren't shallow girl, just try to help him better him self. He could just be a ugly ducklin. I bet you two would have pretty children.

just tell him "you're really nice but you would like to be just friends"..i normally say that if i'm not into a guy, or sometimes i tell them that i see them like a brother. Guess it will hurt their feelings a little but not as much as if you actually tell them the real reason. sometimes you need to let people off gently.

well, you should continue talking to him, but don't go on aim as often, or keep your eye closed. if he IMs you first, talk to him though - but say simple things & no more than 2-3 sentences per IM.
don't IM him first cause then he'll think you like him. try to go on less & less, but don't block him. if he asks for your cell number, give it to him. don't make it obvious that' you're trying to ignore him.
either he'll get the hint or he'll keep persisting. do you see him in real life ever? like church or something?
the KEY is: you must not initiate the first contact, but be polite if he does.
he must get the hint sooner or later if he's always the one to initiate contact, you know?
don't worry too much - just SLOWLY create space between you. it should be easy if the only form of contact is through computers.

Well if you really don't like him, don't lead him on to think that you do like him when you really don't. Just simply tell him that you like him only as a friend. That will be the mature thing to do, leading him on only hurts that persons feelings. He should take it rationally, after all its better than not having you as a friend right? You like his personality, but you don't like him, so tell him you like him as a friend, see how it goes from there.
++ Looks do matter sometimes, but in the long run they don't, especially if the person has great personality. :) Hope I helped.
