Helen of Troy is really good. I've had one for about a year and it straightens my hair really good. It was only $40 at Sallys.

I agree with the person who mentioned the Remington. Its about $25-30 and Walmart & Sallys will most likely have it. Im actually looking for a new one too. I had the remington wet2straight for almost 2 years now. It still works pretty good but I know i need a new one cause its been two years and the plates are getting damaged. The new TIGI straighteners are around $60 but I dont mind on spending a lot if it will work good. I love their bedhead products and stuff so I think their new straighteners will work...hopefully. hhaha. But yeah mostly look for it to be ceramic and you'll be good set.

I like the Remington Wet2Straight ones. They will be around 15-20 dollars. They work really well too.
Walmart will have them.
